Ageing co-defines our contemporary world. We age, our beloved ones age, our society ages. Ageing affects our abilities, needs and desires. Knowledge is the foundation for understanding, accepting and influencing the process of ageing in all these different contexts. When empowered by knowledge, different generations can understand each other and can jointly create a future society, where ageing is not considered a problem but a challenge.

Tales of Age gather the leading international experts from the fields of:

• science of ageing

• philosophy of ageing

• literature discussing ageing

• raising awareness about different aspects of ageing and building a dialog between different generations

The international conference Tales of Age took place on September 13th and 14th 2018 in Central Hotel, Ljubljana, and was accompanied by satellite events at different locations in Ljubljana throughout September.
